Was ist eine Funktion?

Eine Funktion ist wie ein Automat: Du wirfst eine Zahl x hinein, und es kommt genau eine Zahl y heraus. Beispiel Taxi: Grundpreis plus Preis pro Kilometer.
Eine lineare Funktion hat die Form y = m·x + q (auch f(x) = mx + q). Ihr Bild ist immer eine Gerade.
Taxi: y = 2·x + 6 (6 Fr. Grundpreis, 2 Fr. pro km) 5 km → y = 2·5 + 6 = 16 Fr.
